Perfektionsnits

This blog is dedicated to the perfectionists in life.  Tongue in cheek. Pointed and direct.  Hopefully useful to those ( me included ) who struggle with perfectionism.  I'd love to hear your own stories about how you battle being a perfektionsnit - because as we all know - there is a major difference between excellence and being perfect.

God put a longing for perfection in our spirit.  But it was never intended to be self-abusive or abusive to others.  It was meant to create a longing for us to be perfect as HE is perfect.  His idea of perfection was not outward - but inward.  He cared not what people looked like or smelled like.  He looked at the heart - the spirit of a person.

What is it to be perfect like Him?  And how do we achieve excellence in what we do without crossing the line into perfectionism?
